This is a guide to composing contemporary dance music with Cubase. Jungle, techno, house, garage and ambient hip-hop are all introduced and artists such as Orbital, Dave Angel and Alex Reece have made contributions. A CD-ROM and disk are included which contain Midi files, audio samples for jungle drum sounds, groove templates, mixer maps and demos of leading music software. Information for non-Cubase users is also provided covering chords, echoes, arpeggios, quantization and arrangement.
