I think this one is better than the first, because there's more that goes on, and it's a bit more over the top rather than general every day high school life. The Jeep, the chicks, everything with Jana... it's pretty fun.
It's a good way to conclude the series, as well. It's sweet, but not too sentimental. It's just a good romp, and then all the girls graduate, and there are some tears and bumps in the road, but they're all still friends and they're all doing what they want to do, and Maddie's with Ian, and it's nice.
So, yes. Nice. That's what I'd call this book. Nice. I don't think it's relatable to people who are actually graduating high school, necessarily, but it's a good way of appeasing people a few years younger who might be nervous about that. Not the best book on the planet by far, but probably the strongest in the series (can't really compare it to the second), and definitely a good way to conclude.
