I like Muriel. I like the idea of her job and dealing with hot flashes but the execution of the former is lacking. There was only a short info dump about her work and brief stops to her cube. After that it's all running around like a chicken with its head cut off, bumbling accidents, and increasingly depressing family drama.
I figured after all the set up in this book, the next one would be a smoother ride. Then I read the blurb for the next book and there's no fucking way I'm reading the next one where one of her nieces are hurt. It's too damn much.
