Brian Kennedy was born in October 1966 on the Falls Road in Belfast, and his early life was profoundly affected by the troubled and violent backdrop of life in Northern Ireland at that time. The fourth of six children, Brian felt from an early age that he didn't 'fit in' but, on joining a church choir at the age of eleven, he found his salvation in music. Invited to sing in his older brother's band, his goal was set, and he moved to London in 1985 to pursue a career in music. He has subsequently had a glittering career, with numerous albums in both the Irish and UK charts, tours accompanying The Corrs, Ray Charles, Tina Turner, and collaborations with Van Morrison and Ronan Keating. A natural and gifted author, with two highly praised novels already in print, his extraordinary autobiography has all the makings of a novel itself, written with all the warmth and sincerity Brian's fans have come to expect from this multi-talented man.
