I absolutely loved Walk the Edge, and I have to say I'm kind of sorry I haven't read this story earlier. At the same time, I'm also happy I could read it this week - as it was Grace's birthday on the 14th.
Razor and Breanna were both really good characters to get to know, because they both felt like they didn't belong. However, they did feel like they belonged when they were together.
Walk the Edge includes some heavy themes - bullying, death of a family member, feeling excluded - and they were tackled in a very good way.
The novel is well written, and it really touched my heart in more than one way.

I AM SCREAMING. I loved this book so much. I would just sit and listen to the audiobook which is something I literally never do cause its hard for me to sit still but I was doing it cause I just needed to finish this book.

I love Razor and Breanna, I'm not sure if I like them more than Oz and Emily who I really loved but there was something about Razor that really hit me. I think I also really related to Breanna cause I was labelled as a freak in school and I wish I could have been at a different school that met my intelligence more.

Their relationship was so amazing, I felt like they really understood one another and even when they would have arguments or anything they would always come back together and fix it. I also really loved learning more about the club and of course the story of Razor's mom was enthralling.

This book is phenomenal and I am so excited to read the final book in the series.

This series has continued to surprise me! I'm not a big contemporary person but there's something about the town of Snowflake and the motorcycle club that keeps me addicted. I loved how sweet Breanna was compared to Razor's quick temper. The contrast was really fun to read about and they made an adorable couple. I also enjoyed reading about Breanna's mental issues because we don't often see enough of about them in books.

The plot in Walk the Edge kept me hooked until the very end. At the start it was the sweet romance between the two characters and near the end it was the mystery of how Razor's mom died. I like that it was a couple different genres in one! It made it so much better to read.

Part of me is kind of hoping this ends up being a longer series but we'll see! This is a great book for people who don't think contemporaries have enough action in them.

I am a McGarry fan, and I am fully won over by this series after reading this book. We knew very little about Razor after the last book, and I liked learning why he did the things he did. He was actually more complex then I originally thought. We also delve further into the brotherhood of the Terror. Razor had some very well established relationships, and it was sort of beautiful how they supported him when he really needed it. Razor's mother's story broke my heart, but I was happy that he was able to get some sort of closure, and I was overjoyed that he found Breanna. Breanna came from a totally different type of family. She was dead in the middle of 9 children, and had many responsibilities. Although she spent ample time with her siblings, she always felt slighted and like a stranger looking in. Being with Razor helped her be the best that she could be, and to be open and honest. The romance was very sweet, and I cannot comment on some of the best parts because I don't want to spoil anything.

Another solid addition to the Thunder Road series, and I am very excited for Violet and Chevy's book.

This is the second instalment in the Thunder Road series, following up on Nowhere But Here, and somewhere next year the third book will come out.

I have been waiting a while for this book to come out, and had to start as soon as it was released ! I love Katie McGarry and her Pushing the Limits series is just amazing !! And I really liked the first book in this new series, introducing us to the world of motor clubs and the little town of Snowflake. This book continues were the first one left of, only instead of focusing on Oz and Emma, this one is about Razor and Breanna.

Both of them are having a tough time, Razor in dealing with his mother’s death a couple of years ago, and Breanna with her brain. Sounds a bit weird maybe, but Breanna’s mind works differently, it is “smarter” then us normal human beings and she has a lot of trouble fitting in because of that. And not just with her peers, but at home as well. As the number five of a family of nine she doesn’t feel at home anywhere and it is making her very unhappy.
But to make matters even worse, on a night she tries to be normal she ends up very intimately with Razor and pictures are being made. She is blackmailed for it, and Razor tries to help her, while she helps him out solving a puzzle connected to his mother’s death. Of course.. they develop a deeper connecting and fall for each other. But with Razor being part of the Reign of Terror and Breanna being the good girl things get more and more complicated.

Ooohhh how I loved the romance in this book !! Yes it is very predictable, but luckily it took some time for them to grow their feelings for each other and I was not bothered with it. Both characters are tormented in their own way and it is beautiful to see how two people can accept each other and start accepting themselves because of that. And not only that, but some hot and heavy scenes too !! Ohh the tension between them was so sexy !! Loved it !!

And it made me feel so much with them ! The way things were written down I hurt right along with them and I felt really sad for them.. Love how she can do that !!

I like how the author makes us more aware of different theme’s throughout her series. This one for example, with Breanna and her way of thinking. How it affects her and those around her. That being smart does not mean that everything will go easy on you. I love how she intertwines these themes into her stories, it really gives something extra to it !

The main characters themselves were very likeable. Breanna was so quirky and smart, I loved how we got to know more about how she views the world. And Razor is just the perfect example of a bad boy with a heart of gold, I loved him. They are just a great couple together.

What I did not like though, and I did not like in the book before this one is that well.. those motor clubs are a bit discriminating against women. I love the whole brotherhood stuff and that they do everything for each other and help each other.. but why does it have to be a man only club ? If you are married with one of them you’re part of the group in some ways.. but they never let you into the real stuff and what is going on. You will always be second to the club and I dislike that. Maybe it’s me, but I prefer to have a honest relationship, without lies and keeping stuff from each other.
So, this world is not for me in that point of view.

What I also disliked was how Breanna’s parents treated her. Fine if you want to have sooo many children, but you should not neglect some of them because you’re too busy with your other children… And you most certainly should not lean on them to be a co-parent. It is your choice, and your children should not suffer for that. And if you can’t handle it, you should have used a condom..

FINAL THOUGHTS.
Even though I did not agree with everything, the story was great and a lot of stuff happened. A lot of contemporary romance books are so focused on the romance that it completely discards the plot itself, if there even is a plot. But this author just a way with combining romance with a good plot and loveable characters. Soo I would like to give this book 4.5 Freyja’s. Because I really liked this one, and I am very much looking forward to the next one !! Mainly, because it is going to be a crossover !! We’ll see some characters from the Pushing the Limits series, and I LOVED that series !! Totally fangirling over this ^^ So read this one, and the others !!

There were a lot of things that drove me crazy in this book. The main characters, the secondary characters but no way was I bored. Full review to come but it says something that I'm pretty anxious for Chevy and Violet's book and right now I hate Violet. Kudos to McGarry, this was another compelling read.

Walk the Edge is a poignant, delightful and thrilling novel that will grab the readers attention right from the start.

Breanna is a very responsible, down-to-earth girl who starts getting blackmailed and she has no idea how to stop this without facing the consequences. Bre's life at home is already hell and now add to that a blackmail that she cannot handle. My only issue with this story was Bre's family. Her family's exasperating! They would neglect her except for when they needed something and even then, they wouldn't ask nicely! I debated lowering the rating I gave this book because of this irritating family. They got on my nerves and they riled me up. Their treatment for their daughter/sibling was horrendous. I mean, the parents should be the responsible ones and yet they dump everything on Breanna and don't even help her or defend her against her siblings. I know it's wrong but if I could kill all of that family, I would in a heartbeat.

Everyone says the same thing: Breanna's smart, she's quiet. On the inside, I'm not at all quiet. Most of the time, I'm screaming.

Razor is one of the members of the Terror motorcycle club. He's a very reserved person and only really talks when needed. For Razor to help out Breanna is a huge step for him and he's even surprised he offered. In return for Razor's kindness, Breanna sets out to find out what really happened to a family member of his because not even the club he belongs to has talked about it. They find solace in one another and together they go on a journey to figure out what to do with this whole mess.

There's an edginess inside me. something stirring like a cold front on the verge of colliding with warm air. Too many demons are hovering near me and the one thing that can release the pressure is a good fight.

Nowhere But Here was my first Katie McGarry's novel and it was a huge success. I was left wanting to know about Razor and I was surprised to have gotten access to this second book in the series. I enjoyed it so much. Razor and Breanna were so charming and kind of hilarious at times, especially when they met. We have Breanna who's prejudiced by who Razor is and Razor doesn't know if he should open up to Breanna or not. As the story goes on, both characters start to rely on each other and slowly start to form a relationship, which was slow and sweet.

Breanna transports me to all sorts of new places. It's not her physical proximity getting to me, it's the fact that she makes me feel.

The plot had me on edge! My heart was racing as I kept reading and I had no idea what would happen to Breanna and Razor. The blackmail reached a new level and I was gripping my kindle wanting to know where the story would go and if it would be satisfying at the end. Let me tell you it totally was! My heart broke for a few minutes and I was about to start yelling when the story took a different turn and it made me happy. The ending was ultimately gratifying and the author ended the story very nicely.
