If you have picked up this little book, I assume it is because you have some interest in the meaning of Christmas. You desire more than presents this holiday season, perhaps even more than family. If you ask my opinion, I believe what you desire is to worship.
This little book is aimed at providing that for you through the tradition of Advent. The word "advent" simply means the "coming" or "arrival," and as used by Christians it refers to the coming of Christ. It is a way for us, on the one hand, to celebrate the fact that Christ came into the world for us, and on the other hand, to place our hope in his second coming.
