This book represents a programmatic examination of urban architecture. This examination is conducted through the use of collages, texts and concrete projects which together convey what constitutes the architectural project, namely, a theoretical concept, a vivid imagination and the concrete building plan. The book's principal thesis is that urban spaces cannot be conceived today as a continual whole, but rather that the city is articulated according to objects in all possible dimensions. This means that the picture of a city is shaped less by convention than by the quality of its architectural objects, its theme and its structural programme.
