Office XP is the new version of Microsoft Office and will be offered to new users as well as those upgrading from Office 97 and Office 2000. It will also be pre-installed on many new PC's when it launches worldwide on 31 May 2001. Microsoft is offering free 30-day trial demo versions through it's website and via cover-mounts on several computer magazines as well as via The Times/Sunday Times.
