When Blake Spencer wakes up with no memory he finds himself in the world of high finance where he can read about his past activities but does not recall any of it. Returning to his job he is surrounded by people who claim to know him well but he has no knowledge of them. Suddenly he finds himself under investigation for money laundering and the police want to talk to him about a man named Adam Semple. As Blake tries to clear his name his confidence declines when he finds more and more evidence of his criminal past. Armed with just splintered fragments of memory and not knowing who he can trust Blake struggles to discover how much of a criminal he is and whether he is responsible for the death of Adam Semple.
