Richard and the rest of the crew of HMS King George the Fifth were quite happy with their lot in life. They patrolled the edges of Kingdom space, bringing the word of law and some measure of security to those who were rolling out the frontiers of human space. Working with prospectors and colonists, chasing pirates and rogue corporations though the scarcely populated void and bringing them to Kingdom justice. Their ship was advanced, their skills honed and they were motivated by a sense of honour and duty which held them at the front of their field and ready for all the challenges they would meet.
