The drawings themselves are pretty awesome, especially the ones with the small details (like pictured above). There are a few ‘larger’ images that have a ton of white space that I’m not overly fond of though, it just seems like it’s too difficult to make it come together as a complete image with so little involved in the image itself. The paper is pretty thick and I willingly ruined a page to test out how it holds up to markers, even though I primarily use colored pencils. If you’re using something with the strength of a crayola marker you should be fine just so long as you don’t press down or linger a long time in one spot. Sharpies or anything of that strength are a no go, it’ll bleed through to the other side and ruin the other image.
There is a decent amount of variety to choose from and it comes complete with a little story of Alice making hr way through this version of Wonderland. I do wish there had been more images of just the characters though, but I’ve forgiven it as I’ve discovered I really like coloring food for some reason. At the end of a few of the ‘chapters’ you can even find a selection of puzzles to answer like “The playing cards have a strict uniform, but one of them has lost his show. Who is it? And Where has he lost it?” There is even a little maze you can color and complete.
Overall, it’s a great little coloring book! It has some really great artwork that’s fun to color, and high quality paper!
