This title tells two stories. The first parallels the legendary voyage of Odysseus, but with a decidedly modern and sometimes sexy twist as Bergman encounters creatures from sirens to mermaids to Odysseus himself. In the second tale, a dying man asks Bergman to look after a beautiful young woman. Why not? But the woman loves to reenact scenes from famous paintings by Manet, Dore and others, constantly putting her life in jeopardy. Giuseppe does his best to save her, leading him on a fantastic journey.
