Book 4 revisits the time line of the New Testament (NT). Just one example of the findings of this investigation is that a period of 9+ years existed between the birth of the child known as John the Baptist and that of the child with the translated name of Jesus.
The latter part of Book 4 shows through his interaction with the Roman world the very elevated social status occupied by the Roman Citizen Paulus. It also displays his undercover position in the Roman administrative machine. This allowed him to assist those writing the accounts in the NT by helping to place the text in a format which disguised certain material points. Had these been obvious on the NT texts' face it would have caused the Roman State to censor and destroy those works. Very cleverly at one point the text shows us Paulus was still alive in the middle of the reign of Vespasian.
