This established children's atlas has been converted into interactive software, using the talking book technique from "Oxford Reading Tree Talking Stories". There are 3 disks: "The Earth in Space"; "The World"; and "Europe and the British Isles". Each disk incorporates key buttons to highlight the labels on maps; quiz buttons which interrogate the child about place-name knowledge; spoken text, animations, and sound effects.
