The activities in "Poetry (5-7 yrs)" enable children to: write different verse forms, including rhymed, descriptive, alliterative poems; write short verses and tongue-twisters; enjoy wordplay and nonsense verse; create riddles; and, explore patterned verse using traditional and original counting-rhyme structures.
