This is one of four topic-based listening packs for pupils in the first two years of French, particularly those following Levels 1 and 2 of graded-objectives schemes. The packs can be taken in any order, and each one consists of an audio-cassette and a teacher's book. The cassettes contain authentic listening material, and the teacher's book includes a tapescript and repromasters of activities such as games and quizzes. In each topic the listening element is followed by a speaking section which gives pupils the opportuntiy to use what they hear or read as a stimulus for speaking, in line with National Curriculum requirements.
