This was quite spooky, Callie has a gift, she can speak to ghosts and when an elderly widow plea's with her to help she arrives at Hillwood Farm and immediately gets bad vibes from it, the spirit is a bad one that’s for sure. We do have a little romance mixed in with it, to lighten the story up maybe, between Callie and the widow's grandson Luke.
I enjoyed listening to this, however, I think there could have been more spookiness, and ghostly stuff, more romance and just a longer story.

This was an interesting story. Mostly, this is a ghost story. A woman who can speak to the dead is called to help an elderly woman and finds a seriously dark spirit in the home. A series of near tragic events happen while they try to figure out what is going on. There is a romance subplot between the woman (Callie) and the elderly woman's grandson (Luke) but its certainly not the focus. Overall, this was a quick read that was enjoyable but not extraordinary.
