I was laughing, until I was blubbering hot mess. Barry Squires was a bit rough around the edges, but he had was often secretly compassionate and possessed a heart of gold. One of the most beautiful part of the book was also the most painful for me, but I loved the way Smith explored this pain and showed how the family could rally.
