When Ella's mom is taken into a mental hospital, she sets off to find a job and a place to stay to aviod foster care. The job she finds, however, isn't what she was expecting. After lying about her age to get the job, she finds out that the 'child' she is in charge of is nearly eighteen. His mom basically hires her to be his friend and keep him on the strict schedule she set up to keep him out of trouble. But, as she spends more and more time with Tim, she can't help but fall for him. And when the secret she thought she hid so well surfaces, she finds out just how sticky things can get when you weave a web of lies. As it turns out, she has a little growing up to do- and a lot to learn- before she can get her life back on track.
