This is a love story between two damaged people who need each other to become whole again. Liv has been betrayed by many important people in her life. She fears making new connections of any kind and is simply going through the motions on a daily basis. Joel is trying to outrun his past and never feels like he is good enough to enjoy all life has to offer. UNTILL they both reach for the Tim Tams and sparks fly. They decide to take a chance and we get a front row seat to their courtship, with its ups and downs, and it touched my heart.

I really enjoyed this story and liked seeing Joel and Liv grow and change and learn to love themselves as they learn to love each other. The story is supported by many fun and interesting friends. I laughed, I teared up, I swooned.
