This is going to go down as one of my favorites, easy. The dirty cop element just makes it so damn personal for Eve. Add in the risk to Peabody and it heightens things. Iove it when Eve gets emotional and this book took her there a couple times. There was a point toward the end where I got a little misty eyed myself. And I hope Eve just got a new team member....! As usual, once I pick one of these up a binge begins. So I'm already off to the next book
