This book got me from the start. Lucia now an elderly woman was asked if she would do an interview by a young woman and this book is filled with different memoirs of Lucia’s life.

Lucia has an awful childhood and it was sometimes difficult to read. Her family were awful to her.

She was an unwanted child. It really was heartbreaking. There was some happy times though and I did enjoy reading it.

I would definitely recommend this book.
