Luigi Masella, born in 1968, lives in Torino, Italy. His most recent books are La Mancanza (Genesi Editrice 2003, winner of four second prizes in national contests) and Curva di Luce (Lietocolle 2005). Storm Birds is his first collection of poems written straight in english. Passionate photographer too, his images are hosted on the Flickr website.
