Lucky Break was different than other Rockstar Romances that I've read, and not just because both love interests are musicians. There's actually two romances happening here and the POV alternates between Lucky and her best friend, Jordan, rather than between the love interests. This was odd to me at first, but I ended up liking it, even though neither romance gets enough page time. I really would have liked more about Jordan, since she's going through a rough time, but is still there for her friend. I think she has an interesting story to tell.
In the end, I liked Lucky Break a lot. There's nothing too special or memorable about it. It's a pretty standard Romance. It's a bit of a whirlwind, but that's Lucky's life now. The only thing that annoyed me about the romance between Lucky and Jude was that at one point he tells her that he's wanted her "for so long" when they've only met a week ago! Stop the madness! A week is not that long to keep it in your pants!
