I’m a sucker for books set in circuses and magic in a circus setting I love even more. This novel was exactly what I was looking for. The setting is everything I hoped it would be, the characters are memorable and there’s elephants being lovingly cared for - can it get any better? Well it can, because there was such a great magical fantasy plot too!
I can’t wait for the sequel, this was one of my favourite reads of the year!
