1 100000 people have written about God before. Why should anyone read another book or believe that this one unlike the others is genuine? 2 What is there to say? Surely God is just a loving being, wise and so forth, and that is all one needs to know? Let us take the first actually more than one issue and deal with it: 1. It is true that over the last 2500 years many have claimed to be in contact with God. There have been religious leaders and yogis and saints and miracle workers in many countries. 2. Let us for a moment consider Christianity. Suppose that you were in some way associated with an organization that had burnt women and betrayed Jews during the Second World War (the Vatican) and enslaved Africans and raped and plundered and murdered in North America, South America, Africa, India and so forth. Suppose that you became good enough to come into contact with God. What would you do? You would resign from the movement straightaway and urge people not to have anything to do with Christianity.
