Provides a collection of documentary and visual sources, with commentary, covering the major issues in British political history from 1900 to 1945. As well as sources relating to specific events and personalities, such as the General Strike of 1926, Lloyd George and Stanley Baldwin, some of the groups of sources are concerned with longer term issues such as Ireland and the rise of the Labour Party. As with other titles in the series, visual sources are included alongside documentary ones. The "History at Source" series provides collections of documents and visual sources covering popular topics in history for A/AS level and Higher Grade students. The author has written books in the "Evidence in Question Series" for OUP and "Revise Guide Series" for Longman.
