Unconventional New Orleans lawyer Tubby Dubonnet finds himself caught in a twisted medical mystery. When a security guard at Moskowitz Memorial Laboratory discovers maintenance worker Cletus Busters with the frozen head of the lab's most prestigious researcher in his hands, it seems the janitor will go straight to jail. Busters won't say much, but he swears he's innocent, and the court assigns Mickey O'Rourke, a down-on-hisluck, alcoholic attorney, to his case.
