Paddington and Mr Gruber go on a tour round Luckham Hall. Lord Luckham shows them all the family heirlooms, but Paddington is more interested in the prospect of Beef Wellington for lunch.

Paddington disrupts things as usual by finding secret passages behind the bookshelves, which the public are not supposed to know anything about, and then, to cap it all, he “helps out” in the kitchen with the Beef Wellington. Lord Luckham is distraught when he finds that the famous dish has been made from REAL Wellingtons! But a reporter from the local paper is thrilled with the day, saying it’ll make all be very amusing for her readers. So once again, Paddington comes out on top…
