Nothing amazing, PLENTY of flaws, but it's like a b-movie vampire flick; so predictable, so much eye rolling, but still going to watch it because it's 2:00am and heck, why not be distracted for a bit!

Actual rating: 3.5

Some of the information and world building was slightly confusing and I continued messing up the bad guys until the last few pages of the book, but there is a lot of potential in this series, and it's got enough snark to entertain me. I definitely liked it enough to pick up the next in the series.
