I’m going to try to keep this review short because this ebook was not very long. Eternal Blood is a quick ebook to read in between Eternal Kiss and Eternal Captive. It includes Gray Donahue and Dillon. If you are like me, you have been fascinated with getting to know Gray since he was introduced in the first book due to his sister. I loved that Laura Wright wrote a short story before writing his full-length novel later in the series. This ebook touches base on what happened to Gray in the previous book and what he deals with internally and externally. Poor Gray hears everyone’s internal thoughts, and in this book, he discovers the truth about how the Purebloods treat impures. He also finds out the truth about his family and what really happened to his father. I’m starting to question the Order even further after reading this novella.
Overall, since this was a quick read, I give it 3.5 stars. It left me wanting more of Gray and Dillon’s story. There is much sexual tension between Gray and Dillon, but they both will deny it, especially Dillon. I can’t wait to re-read their story. It’s been so long that I don’t really remember it.
Cliffhanger: Yes.
Would I recommend this ebook? Yes. I recommend it if you’ve read the previous books in the Mark of the Vampire series.
