Robert Coverdale's Struggle by Horatio Alger tells the story of Robert Coverdale who lived with his uncle and aunt during his childhood. The story in the opening part shows how the boy's aunt tries to teach him that he should not follow the steps of his uncle who drinks up all he earns.
Right at the outset the readers get ready for the story which begins to prepare them for the following chapters which describe the poor boy's journey through struggles and how he succeeds in rising high in the society.
It is really a highly compelling novel and readers enjoy every moment of the story.
