Rushed to a sudden end. I was suspicious as things were happening but I didn't feel satisfied by it and the explanations of what had happened

5 ★ Audiobook⎮I'm zipping through this series far too quickly to do an in-depth review of each individual installment (of which there are 10!), but I'm sure I'll do a series review after I've finished them all. At this rate, that will probably be early next week! No, no. I need to pace myself. I don't ever want to series to end!

At the risk of turning this into a "take my word for it" kind of review, you'll have to trust me when I say you'd be doing yourself a favor by starting this series. The endless laughs it provides are bound to be good for your health. For optimum enjoyment, I recommend listening on audiobook. Katherine Kellgren kills it as narrator (that's a good thing). I never before knew that narrators could slay like this, but Kellgren absolutely did (also a good thing). I honestly don't think there is an accent that she could not nail.

With that said, I'm off to bed with the next installment! ♣︎

Cute. Entertaining. Light. Brain candy. Quick. Overall exactly what I wanted. Nothing earth-shattering, but well-written entertainment, which has just as much a place in the book world as mind bending literature.

I thought the first book was all right but I see improvement in the series' storyline in this book - some interesting character development taking place with Darcy's character. Good story line, although I saw most of the plot way ahead of time. Still, I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next one.
