A stormy winter ni8ht on the seamier side of Sheffield. Freelance journalist Mike McLean receives a mysterious phone call from small-time burglar Andy Peters. But when McLean goes to meet him, he finds Peters dead, his neck broken. Next morning, ex-con scrap metal dealer James Silvester escapes death by inches when a gunman puts three bullets through the windscreen of his car.. Are the two incidents linked?
