Sylvia Shute is in a coma. Who is Sylvia? We get a look into her life by who visits her in her hospital room. Her ex-husband, her daughter, her sister, her friend, her house keeper and her nurses all give us a glimpse into who Sylvia is and who they are.
I found this book a bit slow and hard to get into at the beginning and almost gave up on it but as I persisted and went forward and found out more about Sylvia and about her relationships, especially her relationship with her friend Cat, I became intrigued and kept wishing Sylvia would wake up. There were some many things that her family and friends needed to know about what Sylvia had done and how her actions affected them.
A definite must read from a very talented author.
