2015, the year of the fiftieth anniversary of the deathof Le Corbusier, honors the most famous French architect in the world by numerous exhibitions. The originality of this work lies in the fact of soliciting twelve creators, inspired by the work of Le Corbusier and whose testimony highlights Le Corbusier's contribution to their own reflection and to the world of arts and ideas. The style chosen is that of a letter, such as those which Le Corbusier loved so much to write, and the tone of total freedom peculiar to artists. Each of the contributors add an original drawing in tribute to Le Corbusier. The purpose of the book we propose is to draw near to this character so complete, so complex, through letters whose authors express what they retain, reject and admire. His daring, his advance of his time and of others, his inclination to communicate in all directions, his megalomania deserve to be commented upon, decrypted, praised or criticized. As a tribute to this man who loved writing and spoke regularly through this medium, it was evident that our contemporaries addressed themselves to him in turn. These unanswered letters are an extension of Le Corbusier's posterity.
