I think that coming from the I Can Read! series it is safe to assume that these beginning readers aline on a similar level to their brother/sister early readers. For instance, Biscuit early readers are My First Level and I would think that their beginning readers in [b:Biscuit Phonics Fun|5986086|Biscuit Phonics Fun|Alyssa Satin Capucilli|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1267916941s/5986086.jpg|6159839] would about the same if not slightly higher. Then with My Little Pony, those early readers are a Level 1 for readers who are beginning to read and sound out words and sentences and these beginning readers in [b:My Little Pony Phonics Fun|2081537|My Little Pony Phonics Fun|Joanne Mattern|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1266525104s/2081537.jpg|2086815] fit right in with that description. More words than Biscuit, but fewer than [b:Superman Classic: Superman Phonics Fun|13133640|Superman Classic Superman Phonics Fun|Lucy Rosen|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327943387s/13133640.jpg|18310117] making this a great tool for emergent readers ready to read. (Superman early readers are a Level 2 for readers who are increasingly confident but still need some help as the beginning readers relate.)
Early Readers are the leveled books that you are able to find for years to encourage and step by step get a little more challenge here and there while teaching your children to read. Early Readers come from all different publishers including HarperCollins/Zondervan I Can Read!, Random House Step into Reading, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Green Light Readers and more. Beginning Readers are the little square books that are great for that I can read it all by myself feeling. Just starting out, little bits at a time with a focus on phonics. That's the way I see it all play out and I'm so excited that these little boxes of Phonics Fun are becoming available from a company like HarperCollins. While still encouraging to read, now it is with characters that your child may know and love.
