The version 5, SuperCalc has set new standards of sophistication for spreadsheeting systems. The extended function set provides mathematical, financial and other calculating facilities anyone in business is likely to need, including tools for handling the sheet directly or through macros. Up to 255 different spreadsheets can be held in memory at once, and each of these may have up to 255 pages. Where there are multiple spreadsheets, data and calculated results can be copies from one to another by cell referencing; with multi-page spreadsheets, ranges can be horizontal and vertical within a page, or through a series of cells on successive pages.
