This text presents circuit analysis using a "Just in time" approach, designed to motivate students by introducing concepts as they are needed to explain a point. It introduces, explains and immediately follows each concept with a corresponding real-life application. The book places an emphasis on modern engineering techniques such as phasors and s-domain rather than classical solution of differential equations. Material moves from elementary to more sophisticated concepts so that students master the basics before moving onto a higher level of sophistication. At the beginning of each chapter, students will find instructional objectives so that they can plan a programme of learning. Real circuits and applications are used to give students an appreciate of how the practising electrical engineer uses circuit analysis. Problems are included in each chapter and total over 1000. In addition there are approximately 250 exercises embedded within chapters.
