Tim Dooley's first collection brings together poems.written over fourteen years. Their range in theme and style is considerable, but together they represent a consistent view of life and a recognizable tone of voice. Born in Cornwall in 1951, Dooley grew up in Bristol and studied English at Oxford. He has taught in schools in and near London, and has helped edit various small press poetry magazines. He reviews fiction and poetry for the Times Literary Supplement.
