Tanner's Scheme was very good. I had no hopes for it considering my displeasure of the last two books, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really liked Tanner and Scheme, but Scheme was the winning factor in this story. I thought she was strong, loyal, fierce and protective when she needed to be. I really admired her desire to do the right thing concerning the breeds. I'm also glad that we found out who the spy was in this book and that the author didn't drag it out as a plot device for subsequent stories. The sex scenes were numerous and I did end of skimming the last few, but I'm happy to say that I will not give up on this series yet. 4.5 stars
