The aim of this book is to introduce the new user to the main features offered by Lotus 1-2-3 Release 3. Through a number of practical examples, it shows what can be achieved and how to achieve it. Each section introduces a particular set of features of the program and then describes an application that can benefit from the use of these. The book is aimed at two groups of reader, those who are new to Lotus and therefore have limited knowledge of its advanced capabilites and those who are upgrading to Release 3. For the first group the advantages of release 3 over previous releases are stressed, for the second group the stress is on the ways in which traditional applications can be enhanced through the use of Release 3.
