I have to say that I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast and easy read. I had some reservations since I am not a big fan of BDSM, but I thought it was done well. I loved the relationship between Victoria, Ravnos, & Seht. It was intense, wickedly hot and definitely not for the faint of heart. Ravnos was unquestionably the dominant in the relationship. Seht treated Victoria more gently than I thought he would. There's a lot of sex, especially anal, in this story. A couple of the sex scenes did make me uncomfortable and there were a scene near the end that didn't work for me. However, I understand that it was displaying another aspect of their relationship.

There was some suspense and action and I was on the edge of my seat wondering how they were going to accomplish their task. I do admit to feeling slightly disappointed with the reasoning behind the auctioning of the ship they were trying to save. With how well the story was moving, I guess I was looking for something more complex. I also wished that there was a different outcome for Victoria at the end, but, deep down, it's what she wanted. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
