Maggie, Tessa and Brenna are all authors I've read either individually, together, or in anthologies. I admire their imaginations and their senses of humor. They've made me laugh and brought me close to tears. Brenna's story IV The Drowning Place was probably my favorite. A friend's 8 week old puppy accidentally drowned this week and this whole section really touched me on such an emotional level.
It was difficult to read at first with the authors' notes interspersed throughout the stories but after a while I worked out how best to read them for me.
I appreciate more what goes into writing for all of these authors, their differences and similarities.
