'A Divided Church' tells the story of the division that took place in the Free Church of Scotland leading to the emergence of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) in the year 2000. It traces the various issues that led to the division and addresses perceived inadequacies in that connection of procedures in Church and State. The story is told from the perspective of the minority in that division, which became known as the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing).
The book is a sequel to the author's major work on the history of the Free Church of Scotland denomination in the 20th Century: 'Preserving a Reformed Heritage.'
