Infame, como el otro que me he leído de Dan Brown, pero en este los fallos técnicos eran tan clamorosos que no pude con él.
La calidad de la literatura Browniana es la misma que recuerdo del Código Da Vinci. Por ejemplo, la descripción del prota. He visto novelitas del oeste con más sensibilidad en las descripciones del machote:

"Becker was dark--a rugged, youthful thirty-five with sharp green eyes and a wit to match. His strong jaw and taut features reminded Susan of carved marble. Over six feet tall, Becker moved across a squash court faster than any of his colleagues could comprehend. After soundly beating his opponent, he would cool off by dousing his head in a drinking fountain and soaking his tuft of thick, black hair. Then, still dripping, he'd treat his opponent to a fruit shake and a bagel."

¿A quién cojones se le ocurre aclararse la cabeza llena de sudor en la fuente de beber? ¿Qué clase de puerco nos pones como protagonista, Brownie?
La protagonista, novia del protagonisto, posee una mente de CI 170 en un cuerpo hecho para el pecado. Y el autor nos lo recuerda unas 2390 veces.
Toda la plana mayor de los rompecódigos de la NSA falla cuando se les presenta un código que el lector casca a la primera, según lo lee.

No se puede. Entre la ausencia total de calidad en la escritura y la ausencia total de credibilidad de la historia, se cae todo el tinglado. Infumable del año.
la comencé al mismo tiempo que andaba con la trilogía de Criptonomicón, que me pareció una obra maestra. Es que son el día y la noche.
