i-Net+ is a new Internet certification program offered by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), a non-profit organization sponsored by many of the big names in computing. This new exam, scheduled to go live in December 1999, covers Internet connectivity, security, and Web site technical development. i-Net+ certifies technical entry-level skills required to pursue an Internet-specific technical specialization role. i-Net+ is vendor- and product-neutral, covering myriad Internet-related products and technologies.
