The statistics cover several fields: population and households, health. paid and unpaid work, income, education, crime and decision-making. Commissioned by the UN Economic Commission for Europe, completed questionnaires were received from 43 of the 54 countries in the ECE region. The data provides a sharp insight into the situation of men and women in this vast and diverse area which covers three continents.
