It's a time of peace and love, but a serial killer, dubbed The Death Tripper, is at large. Tough, bright Homicide Inspector John Sparrow is assigned to the case. He meets Amy Cole, a young writer for the underground weekly The Rag and both come away mistrusting the other. But they need each other if they are to stop the Death Tripper.
