While I quite enjoyed the first book, Wolf's Glory didn't really work out too well. It started off fine. Glory and Jane have headed out to find help for the survivors of their plane crash. Eventually they stumble upon some men who take them back to their village and offer assistance. It's there where Glory meets Wolf's Shadow who immediately claims her as his. Glory is put off by that but she is very attracted to him. Then she learns that she's not where or when she thinks she is, and the sexy man claiming her as his mate is actually a wolf!

Wolf's Glory was going pretty good until one scene ruined it all. Obviously, Glory isn't receptive to the whole mate claim thing, but she does like Wolf's Shadow and they get up to some sexy times. But then, they have an argument and he rapes her but doesn't rape her. I was pretty confused and uncomfortable with that scene. Glory was encouraging his actions, so she doesn't think it was rape. But as soon as he was finished, Wolf's Shadow turned himself over to the Council for rape. He wasn't aware that she wanted it and was enjoying it, because all he was thinking about was using sex to control her. And that is absolutely not okay! Plus, if he was so convinced that he was raping her, why didn't he just stop?! That's pretty sick.

Aside from that one scene, Wolf's Glory isn't awful. It's super cheesy, and there's not much going on outside of the romance, but that's okay. What's not okay is a rape scene to act as the switching point from overbearing Alpha male to love-sick puppy. I really could have done without that.
